UVC Power has streamlined UV-C system safety with our Door Interlock Safety Switch. Designed for ease of installation, these plug-and-play switches are perfect for access points where UV-C exposure could pose a safety risk. Our switches feature a high-quality ANSI B11 standard switch with a key and chain locking mechanism, ensuring robust security. They come pre-wired for direct connection to the UVC Power 1289 Series control panels and include all necessary mounting hardware.
Each control panel can accommodate up to 2 switches. For custom configurations requiring more than 2 switches per panel, please contact us.
All system components MUST be professionally installed
UVC light can cause temporary or permanent loss of vision, and temporary acute redness or ulceration to exposed skin. To prevent exposure, do not operate the device in any application that allows UV-C light to be visible during operation. NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE BULB OR DISINFECTING AREA. DO NOT touch bulb with bare hands. Your skin contain oils that will damage the lamp. Fingerprints will result in reduced performance and reduce the lifespan of the lamp unless they are removed with Isopropyl alcohol.
All HO UVC lamps have vaporized traces of mercury gas which will dissipate immediately (within seconds). This mercury vapor is the industry standard that has been widely used for over a decade.
NEVER VACUUM broken UVC LAMP SHARDS. Sweep and dispose of the broken glass in compliance of local product waste disposal codes.
